Live Tuition
Schatz Legal Learning provides Live Tuition which sets us apart from many competitors. You only have three attempts to pass the SQE in a six-year period, so it’s really important to ensure you have chosen the best course for you to pass the SQE Assessment- we believe that live tuition is the best way
SQE1 - Long Course
- Ideal for those who have limited time to study, and can only attend one session per week
- The current course started in February 2025, with a view to sitting the SQE1 exam in January 2026. Delegates still wishing to join will be able to access all past live sessions as recordings, and join the ongoing live classes.
- The next intake will be in July 2025, to sit in July 2026
- Classes are on-line via Zoom at *10.30am-11.45am GMT each Saturday for 34 weeks [excluding reading weeks and public holidays] and each session will be recorded, password protected and posted for you to start keeping a ‘file’ of the recordings for your revision.
- With the Premium Prep Course, at the end of the course for SQE1 you will attend the revision weekend/master class (35th week) just before the sitting of the exams [see my ‘Live Revision weekend’ page for details].


SQE1 - Intensive Course
- Ideal for those with more time available, and can attend 2 sessions per week
- The next course starts on 5th July 2025, with a view to sitting the SQE1 exam in January 2026.
- Classes are on-line via Zoom at *12noon- 1.15pm GMT each Saturday plus one evening for 17 weeks [excluding reading weeks and public holidays] and each session will be recorded, password protected and posted for you to start keeping a ‘file’ of the recordings for your revision.
- With the Premium Prep Course, at the end of the course for SQE1 you will attend the revision weekend/master class just before the sitting of the exams [see my ‘Live Revision weekend’ page for details].
What will be covered?
The two SQE1 Functioning Legal Knowledge (FLK) assessments comprise the following subject areas:
- FLK1- Business Law and Practice; Dispute Resolution; Contract; Tort; Legal System of England and Wales; Constitutional and Administrative Law and EU Law and Legal Services (FLK 1).
- FLK2- Property Practice; Wills and the Administration of Estates; Solicitors Accounts; Land Law; Trusts; Criminal Law and Practice (FLK 2).
At Schatz Legal Learning, we work closely with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) to ensure that all of our course content and materials are fully up-to-date and aligned with the latest SRA guidance. This means you can be confident that your preparation is accurate, relevant, and focused on what truly matters for the SQE assessments. Our aim is to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence you need to succeed — using materials that reflect the current expectations and standards set by the SRA.
Dr Schatz does not believe in overwhelming students with unnecessary content.
